Earning sales revenue of more than 1.4 billion in 2017 our people come from over 60 nations at 50 sites in 33 countries.For our Finance & Controlling unit we are looking for a Manufacturing Controller (m/f/d) in Guxhagen.Your tasks
Identify and drive process changes within the department to improve the robustness and accuracy of data reported to both local management and Group Controlling at the company head office
Ensure timely and accurate reporting at the month end close with a detailed understanding of variances to expectations (budget and forecasts)
Work with other department heads to ensure the controlling elements of their business processes are aligned to the controlling requirements for accurate and timely reporting
Business Partner to co-pilot local activities with respective leaders (Product Management, Product development and Operations)
Provide detailed reporting at a local level to the relevant business heads
Perform ongoing controlling / profitability analysis (by business areas, product groups, customers, regions)
Lead / Coordinate monthly, quarterly, yearly analysis of the activities (retrospective) but also forecast, budget and multi-year processes
Your profile
University degree in economics with focus on controlling
Minimum of 6 years experience of working in a controlling role within a manufacturing business is essential, ideally within engineered instrument production, with experience in driving process improvement
Effective communication skills to be able to influence decisions with senior personnel from other areas of the business, and communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues
An eye for detail, a thorough approach so work presented can stand up to scrutiny
Skills in analytical thinking and the ability to structure complex facts and issues with an eye toward the essentials
Good MS Office skills (Excel, Power point) / Knowledge of SAP / BIW
Ability to work creatively and to think in concepts
High sense of quality and responsibility as well as ability to work self-reliantly
Excellent English and German skills
